We’ve got a lot of great things going on this week at the Web 2.0 Expo. We’ll be showing mahups, RIAs and all sorts of really simple integrations.
We’ve got a mashup of Saleforce.com and LinkedIn that was built by one of our users and they kindly shared it with us. If you’re not at the show you can watch a screencast of it here.
We’re also going to be showing WaveMaker’s Visual AJAX Studio and an app that we build on top of SnapLogic RESTful data services.
One of the most interesting things we’ll be showing is what people are starting to call BI 2.0.
Last week at the mySQL show we met a couple of cool companies that have query tools and desktop data analysis applications that are well on their way toward BI 2.0.
Kirix has a great Data Browser that accesses RESTful data services directly and then give you the tools to analyze and present it. Very Cool.
We quickly put together some data sets and exposed them as data services. Kirix now has a cool way that can easily access data that was once locked up behind SOAs, APIs and generally unavailable. We’re both going to be showing this in our booths.
Like chocolate and peanut butter. Two great things that go great together.
