Cambridge Python Meetup 11/20/2007

I stopped by the Cambridge Python Meetup last night. There were about 10 attendees.

We started with a review of the recent Python events in the area. We talked about the MassTLC Open Source Summit and Doug Napoleone also covered the DjangoDotJune meeting in Northhampton. These reviewes triggered discussions about GPL V3 and the use of Python in the One Laptop Per Child project.

George Lambert of Goldenware Technology also talked about his work with Python in the travel industry, including some very high volume websites. I also talked about the SnapLogic project.

All in all, a good meeting. Thanks to Peter Marques for organizing this.
