The Role:

The OEM Sales Director is a senior sales role that requires tact, credibility, energy, and drive.  This is a “hunter” role with a focus on outbound pursuit of new logos, targeting the integration of the SnapLogic platform into an OEM customer’s products, which are subsequently sold to their end customers.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in either direct or OEM sales roles with established knowledge of product management and engineering stakeholders. 

What You'll Do:

  • Develop an OEM sales plan for your assigned region, including target accounts, acquisition and expansion strategies and a long term growth.
  • Prospect into OEM target accounts, securing meaningful conversations with product development, engineering and other relevant senior leaders.
  • Articulate and manage SnapLogic’s complex sales cycles to present the value of our full product suite to decision-makers.
  • Develop and manage key relationships throughout assigned accounts, from technical individual contributors to C-level executives (typically Chief Technology Officers, Chief Product Officers, Product Management and Engineering teams).
  • Collaborate closely with your assigned Sales Architect / Engineer to scope and develop a custom business solution to an OEM customer’s specific requirements.
  • Practice operational discipline by maintaining accurate opportunity and activity management in Salesforce , while creating satisfied, referenceable customers. 

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of selling solutions into IT technology.
  • Prior direct sales experience in a data technology company.
  • Prior experience negotiating contracts and pricing for complex, multi-year contracts.
  • Experience selling to Digital Information Services companies, Global ISVs, Tax, Audit and Consulting firms.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quota.
  • SaaS selling experience is a MUST.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training, SaaS integration or applications experience, and strong customer references preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing the sales cycle from business/IT champion to C-level executives.
  • A polished executive presence and poise that exudes credibility.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment strongly preferred.
