Dr. Stefan Henkel headshot

Dr. Stefan Henkel

CIO

Stefan Henkel studied economics at the University of Bamberg, where he also received his PhD. After working as an assistant professor and as a freelance IT consultant, he started his Siemens career in 1996 at Siemens Management Consulting in Munich. In 1997, he became the Director of Supply Chain Consulting at Corporate Procurement and Logistics. After filling further management positions in other departments, he joined Customer Services at the Healthcare Sector in 2006, where he was responsible for the global “Product Support” and “Siemens Remote Service”. After leading a company-wide transformation project, Stefan Henkel became the Head of Customer Relationship Management Operations in 2011. He then took the responsibility as Head of Information Technology, and since 2018 Stefan Henkel assumes the accountability as CIO of Siemens Healthineers.

IT Director

An IT Leader, specialising in API Management, application and data integration across the full lifecycle including Strategy, Project Delivery, Architecture and Support capabilities. Darren has a proven record of devising beneficial solutions and influencing full life cycle projects. Key expertise includes: analysing complex business requirements & introducing integrated solutions to satisfy commercial objectives; strong client facing & stakeholder management skills with the ability to interface between senior management as well as technical and non-technical teams; assuring detailed integration projects; and driving design on large projects with budgets up to £40m.

Currently leading a globally distributed team of 70 across 5 time zones, supporting over 18000 integrations across multiple business domains, integration technologies and business platforms.

A strong advocate for leveraging Managed APIs to accelerate and support digital ways of working, unlocking the power of platforms and data for increased adoption, collaboration and innovation!

Dr. Sam Prodger is the RNLI’s Head of Data Operations and Applications, with a focus on leveraging new data sources to support the Charity’s lifesaving and fundraising efforts, as well as looking at how they run their applications and development of product way of working. He is also a volunteer lifeboat crew for the RNLI and sees first-hand how data can be used to support their search and rescue efforts.

Prior to joining SnapLogic, Jeremiah was the CTO at healthcare technology company Ontrak, and before that held senior leadership roles at GE and SAP.

Dayle Hall is the CMO at SnapLogic, where he is responsible for developing the go to market model, brand strategy and marketing execution of the company. He has built and grown marketing functions in large and small technology companies including People.ai, Lithium (now Khoros), Aruba Networks, Cisco and Oracle.

A seasoned veteran, Michael Nixon currently leads SnapLogic’s cloud data marketing efforts as their VP of Cloud Data Marketing. Prior to joining SnapLogic, Michael was the Sr. Director of Product Marketing at the cloud data platform, Snowflake, as well as other large technology companies such as Pivotal, NEC, Sony, and HP.

Underground

The nearest London underground stations are Moorgate and Liverpool Street, both less than a 5 minute walk from CodeNode. Journey Planner or Citymapper are great resources should you need further help planning your journey.

Train

The nearest national rail stations are Liverpool Street and King’s Cross. King’s Cross is just a ten minute underground journey away.

Bike

If you are arriving or departing using a Santander Cycles Hire bike, there is a docking station next to Moorgate Station.

Airport

London City Airport is the nearest airport to CodeNode, easily accessible via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) from Bank underground station. All other London airports are within 1 hour of the venue.

Car Parking

The venue is located in the Congestion Charge Zone meaning charges for non-residents may apply. More info here. There are two NCP car parks nearby: 

  • NCP Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AD
  • NCP Whitechapel High Street, London E1 7RA

Although blue badge holders can park at most pay and display bays, this rule does not apply to The City, Westminster and parts of Kensington & Chelsea. The closest blue badge parking to the venue is at Finsbury Circus.
