The SnapLogic July 2025 release is packed with enhancements designed to accelerate agent creation, improve platform visibility, and modernize integrations.

From streamlined Amazon Bedrock Snaps and enhanced Prompt Composer features to powerful new Monitor APIs and SnapGPT capabilities, this release helps teams work smarter and faster.

Let’s take a closer look at these updates.

Smart, faster agent creation

This release brings significant improvements to Amazon Bedrock Snaps, designed to simplify workflows and enhance model interactions. We’ve streamlined output formatting for improved readability and faster data analysis, and introduced smarter model suggestions for both ‘Agent Retrieve and Generate’ and ‘Anthropic Claude on AWS Messages’ Snaps, helping you quickly choose the best-fit model for the task at hand. In addition, we’ve enabled support for Thinking capability for Claude models across Anthropic Claude on AWS Messages and the Amazon Bedrock Converse API.

If you are leveraging Google’s GenAI models, we’ve added support for the Google GenAI OAuth2 Account, providing a secure and seamless OAuth2-based authentication process.

The Prompt Composer experience has also been refined for greater usability and efficiency. Layout selections are now persisted, so your preferred setup stays intact between sessions. The SnapGPT for Prompts Assistant now remembers the last point in your conversation, allowing you to pick up where you left off.

Additionally, schema suggestions with auto-completion make it easier to reference fields in the input schema without needing to type or format them fully. Finally, the Amazon Bedrock Converse API Snap now supports Simplified Response when used downstream from the Amazon Bedrock Prompt Generator, making data previews cleaner and easier to scan.

Enhanced platform visibility and control

We’ve rolled out several Monitor and Data Lineage enhancements to improve platform visibility, usability, and automation across the SnapLogic platform.

In Monitor, the new Asset Catalog APIs allow you to programmatically retrieve a list of Tasks, Pipelines, and Accounts, making it easier to manage assets at scale. The Pipeline Executions table now includes visual indicators: failed executions are marked in red, manually stopped ones in yellow, and the Snaplex column appears by default. Column selections also persist between sessions for a more consistent experience.

We’ve also added CPU% and memory usage statistics for better performance insights and introduced a Nested/Flattened toggle to group parent and child pipelines for clearer execution views.

For Data Lineage, new public APIs are now available to retrieve lineage data for all pipelines or a specific pipeline executed within an environment. These APIs provide greater transparency into data flows, enabling improved auditing, debugging, and compliance management.

Additionally, SnapGPT now includes a beta Snap Copilot skill that helps you configure Snap settings more intuitively. Snap Copilot can generate Mapper expressions, SQL, or Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) without requiring you to open those skills directly from the SnapGPT panel.

Git integration: Microsoft Azure with Entra ID

We’ve introduced a new Git provider entry — Microsoft Azure with Entra ID — to replace the legacy Microsoft Azure DevOps Repository. Earlier this year, Microsoft announced the discontinuation of registering new Azure DevOps OAuth Apps in favor of Microsoft Entra ID, its modern Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. This update ensures compatibility with Microsoft’s latest authentication standards without disrupting your existing Azure DevOps integration with SnapLogic.
