What I Learned at Snowflake Summit 2025: AI, Real-Time Data, and the Great Integration Rethink

3 minutes de lecture

Last week, thousands of data leaders, architects, and innovators gathered in Las Vegas for Snowflake Summit 2025 and the energy was palpable. From mainstage keynotes to hallway conversations, one theme kept surfacing: enterprises are rearchitecting for an AI-first future, and they need modern integration to get there.

This wasn’t just a showcase of what’s possible. It was a clear-eyed look at what’s required: faster decision-making, real-time visibility, and a connected data foundation that’s built for intelligence, not just infrastructure.

SnapLogic was proud to be part of the conversation. The momentum was nonstop at our booth — which might explain why we were awarded Best in Show Booth Activation. Big thanks to everyone who stopped by to experience how SnapLogic brings AI-powered integration to life.

We had a front-row seat to the challenges and opportunities facing our customers and partners as they navigate this shift. Here are four key takeaways from my conversations on the showroom floor:

1. AI-first integration is here (and it’s driving buying decisions)

AI agents, chatbots, and autonomous workflows aren’t future-state — they’re happening now. And they’re changing the way teams evaluate integration platforms.

In conversation after conversation, it became clear that integration strategies are being shaped by AI priorities. If your platform can’t support dynamic data movement, natural language interfaces, or real-time orchestration of data and APIs, it’s not going to make the shortlist.

And this is exactly why SnapLogic built AgentCreator, to empower enterprises to build and deploy AI agents that are deeply integrated into business processes, not bolted on.

2. Legacy integration tools are on the way out

Enterprise modernization is accelerating and many teams are reaching a breaking point with legacy tools. I heard consistent feedback about plans to phase out platforms like Informatica, Fivetran, MuleSoft, and Alteryx, with issues ranging from cost to lack of CDC support to limited AI-readiness.

The most telling part? These aren’t just migrations — they’re transformations. IT leaders are reimagining their integration strategy to support composability, automation, and agility. SnapLogic’s low-code platform resonated with teams looking to move fast and stay flexible.

3. SAP data liberation is heating up

Many attendees I talked to were focused on freeing SAP data for AI and analytics. Atalia Horenshtien from Customertimes gave a standout talk on this subject, and it sparked dozens of follow-up conversations in our booth.

Why the urgency? AI initiatives depend on unified data, and yet SAP systems remain one of the most siloed and complex sources to work with. Teams are eager to bring SAP data into Snowflake to unlock insights, power agents, and enable more agile decision-making.

4. Real-time integration is becoming a baseline

The demand for real-time data movement came through loud and clear. More and more teams are designing architectures that rely on streaming data for real-time alerts, personalization, and decision-making.

The old paradigm of nightly batch jobs isn’t going to cut it in the agentic era. Real-time use cases— from fraud detection to customer engagement — are driving investment in platforms that can meet the moment. SnapLogic’s support for event-based and streaming integrations stood out as a critical enabler.

AI-ready starts with integration

Snowflake Summit 2025 made one thing clear: we’re at a turning point. Enterprises aren’t just exploring AI, they’re operationalizing it. And they’re rethinking their integration strategies to keep up with the speed, scale, and intelligence today’s innovations demand.

If your organization is looking to activate AI use cases, modernize legacy tools, or unlock real-time insights across systems, we’d love to show you how SnapLogic makes it faster and easier.
