SnapLogic Intelligent Modernizer (SLIM)
Rescue valuable integrations from obsolete platforms.
How SLIM works
Ingest and analyze existing integrations
Retire, replace, and refactor integrations from your legacy platforms and determine optimal steps for migration. SLIM analyzes backend logic and develops full documentation of the existing environment to highlight relationships between different components, how data flows, and what precisely should be migrated.

Create new integrations for what you need today
Build modern pipelines using native SnapLogic semantics, not direct one-to-one rewrites tied to outdated logic. With SLIM, you get a fresh foundation for integration, eliminating the need to carry over legacy components that no longer serve a purpose. Maintain context by grouping related workflows, rather than treating each component in isolation.
Ensure faster, safer platform transitions
Create new integrations with insight from legacy logic and validate them immediately. Automate the test environment setup with SLIM, including stub endpoints for logic validation, and accelerate the entire migration process, from initial analysis to development and testing.

Benefits of using SLIM
Speed up legacy migration
Manual legacy integration migrations are time-consuming. SLIM uses AI to efficiently transfer the value of past investments to new, cloud-native, and AI-enabled integration platforms, eliminating outdated components.
Cut migration costs in half
Significantly reduce migration project costs by removing the noise. SLIM helps you analyze current integrations, identify essential components, and generate new integrations, without technical debt holding you back.
Reduce migration risks
Migrating core business process integrations requires precision. SLIM provides AI-powered analysis for understanding existing systems, enabling intelligent decision-making, and giving you control to plan and mitigate risks for successful migration projects.

FAQs
Depending on your existing integration platform, it may be very soon! Talk to your CSM / AE for details.
Currently, SLIM supports migration from Informatica PowerCenter and IBM DataStage. We are working to ingest legacy integrations from a number of other platforms, including with partners. If you have specific skills with integration platforms that are reaching end-of-life, and would like to work with us in developing a better option for users, please get in touch!
As SLIM leverages metadata provided via customer‑triggered exports only, existing systems are untouched by SnapLogic, and customers retain ownership of the data and the ability to cleanse sensitive values. This least‑privilege access and related environment isolation ensure SLIM and SnapLogic personnel have minimal connection to the existing system.
One of the design objectives for SLIM is pluggability: new source platforms can be onboarded by adding/adjusting parsers in the Analysis plane, while the Generation mechanisms stay the same. This system is already in use internally, but is still being actively developed. As soon as it stabilizes, it will be released to partners with relevant expertise for them to build parsers, enabling SLIM to ingest logic from additional legacy systems.
