The April 2024 release of the SnapLogic platform is here! This release brings enhancements to GenAI Builder with support for Amazon Bedrock, improved connectivity with new Snaps and additional functionality, more public APIs for managing API and integration lifecycle.

Let’s look at the April release highlights.

GenAI Builder enhancement

With this release, we are adding a new Snap Pack to connect to Amazon Bedrock LLM. This Snap Pack adds new Snaps for generating vector embeddings and prompts. It can also generate chat completions using both Amazon Titan and Anthropic Claude models. So if you are leveraging Amazon Bedrock as a platform to access your large language models, you can now utilize them to power your GenAI applications built using SnapLogic GenAI Builder.

Automate integration and the API lifecycle seamlessly

The April release adds a few new public APIs so you can easily manage integration assets and automate the API lifecycle.

With new public APIs, you can add users to an org. This feature is useful especially when you want to create a temporary test environment to test out your pipelines before deploying them to a production environment.

With new public APIs, you can also export and import individual assets such as accounts, pipelines, tasks, files.

Better observability with new activity logs and insights

We continue to provide better observability with new features in the Monitor.

We introduced the new Insights page in Monitor in March so that you can get a unified view of your SnapLogic environment such as Tasks, Pipeline Executions, Documents Processed, # of API Calls, etc. for a specified period.

Additionally, with the new activity logs, you can track changes to user accounts and assets within your organization. Activity logs help you track changes to Access Control Lists, API policies, Snap Pack distributions, Snaplexes, Sessions, among other things and helps you keep track of all activities that would affect the state and security of your SnapLogic environment.
