Higher education IT is at a pivotal moment: institutions face increasing pressure to modernize legacy systems, enable cross-departmental data fluidity, and adopt AI-driven capabilities. All while safeguarding student data, meeting compliance, and controlling costs. That’s why we’re excited to be part of EDUCAUSE 2025 annual conference, in Nashville (Oct 27–30) and online (Nov 12–13).
If you work in IT at a college, university, or research institution, we hope you’ll stop by to talk about how SnapLogic can help connect your systems, empower data-driven services, and automate workflows intelligently.
What we’re looking forward to at EDUCAUSE 2025
1. Conversations around AI and responsible innovation
AI is top-of-mind across higher ed, from student support chatbots to predictive analytics to generative content and intelligent workflows. We’re eager to hear how institutions are thinking about blending data, AI, and governance responsibly, and to share how SnapLogic is helping in that space (e.g. low-code agentic integration).
The focus at EDUCAUSE on AI, trust, transparency, and next-gen tech will make this year especially rich.
2. Deep dives into integration, interoperability & modernization
We’ve long argued (and demonstrated) that data and system silos hold institutions back: integration is the plumbing that must evolve. We see time and again how reuse, agility, and a strong architectural underpinning make the difference.
At EDUCAUSE, we’re keen to get into the weeds with IT leaders: how to modernize data pipelines, rearchitect for modularity, and prepare for the next wave of AI-augmented workflows.
3. Showcases and use cases from higher ed peers
One of the best parts of a conference like EDUCAUSE is hearing from your peers. Which institution is nailing unified identity and access across cloud systems? Who has built a smart student onboarding pipeline? We plan to highlight real-world patterns we’ve seen in higher education, and learn new ones.
For example, technology leaders from Arizona State University, Kimberly Clark, Deputy CIO and Alexis Pumel, Data Success Lead will be presenting a Poster Session titled “Igniting Potential: Tech Modernization to Fuel Transformative Student Journeys and Lifelong Success,” covering how ASU uses technology to reimagine the student and faculty experience. Kimberly will also be presenting at a Mainstage Panel titled “Bridge and Beacon: IT’s Unique Role in Shaping Strategy” with members of the University of Houston’s IT team.
4. Connecting with institutions of all sizes and types
Whether you’re a small liberal arts college, a global research university, or a multi-campus system, your integration and data challenges are unique. EDUCAUSE brings together a diverse spectrum of institutions, and we’re looking forward to meeting IT leaders from all corners, to explore low-code adoption, hybrid cloud models, API-first architectures, and more.
How SnapLogic is changing the game in higher ed
At SnapLogic, we think of ourselves as the connective tissue for institutions that want speed, scale, and intelligence in their digital infrastructure. Here’s how we help:
- Low-code / visual pipelines with AI assistants: We provide a platform where IT teams (and even non-IT stakeholders) can build integrations, transformations, and workflows visually, which dramatically reduces time to value.
- Prebuilt “Snaps” for many apps, databases & systems: From student information systems to learning platforms to finance/HR systems, we’ve already built many connectors, so you don’t have to start from scratch.
- Agentic integration & AI-powered automation: We’re pushing forward with SnapLogic’s agentic capabilities (e.g. via AgentCreator) to let institutions automate even more intelligently. For example, building chat workflows, autosummarizing data streams, or embedding ML logic in integration flows.
- Reuse + modular architecture: You shouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel every time. Best practices, patterns, and shared logic (especially across campuses or departments) can accelerate adoption and lower maintenance.
- Security, governance, and compliance built-in: We know educational institutions have strict requirements. And we design accordingly: authentication, auditing, governance, data encryption, and role-based access are core.
In other words, SnapLogic is not just a tool, but a strategic partner for your institution’s next wave of digital transformation.
What to do before & during EDUCAUSE 2025
- Plan for a meeting. If you’re attending in person or virtually, drop us a line. Let’s schedule time to chat about your use cases, challenges, and integration roadmap.
- Bring your key scenarios and pain points. Before we talk, think about your top integration bottlenecks (e.g., data synchronization, identity, automation, analytics).
- Look for us in the showcase or exhibit hall: we’ll have demos, experts, and use-case stories ready. Find us at booth #: 738.
- Plug into AI-powered integration: ask us about how to start small (pilot projects) and scale up to institutional transformation.
Taking the next step in your journey with confidence
If your institution is wrestling with any of the following, we’d love to hear from you at EDUCAUSE 2025:
- Stalled data projects
- Isolated systems or departmental silos
- Manual or error-prone workflows
- Embedding AI or ML into operational processes
- The need for faster analytics or better data-driven decision-making
Let’s explore how SnapLogic can help you:
- Unify systems and APIs
- Automate operational workflows (admissions, enrollment, HR, research)
- Surface insights across data
- Embed intelligent operations without full-scale rebuilds
Book time with us, stop by our booth, or reach out in advance. Let’s make your cloud + integration + AI journey smoother, faster, and more strategic.
Let’s transform higher ed, together
We’re energized by what we’ll learn and discover alongside the higher ed IT community at EDUCAUSE 2025. With AI, data, and integration all converging, this is your moment to rethink what your institution’s infrastructure can do.
We hope to see you in Nashville, or online!
See you at EDUCAUSE 2025.
