I’m thrilled to share that Ovum, a prestigious analyst firm based out of London, has recognized SnapLogic as a Leader its “Ovum Decision Matrix: Selecting a Cloud Platform for Hybrid Integration Vendor, 2019–20,” report. For those not familiar with the report, Ovum aims to help enterprise IT leaders like CIOs, architects, integration directors and specialists, and digital transformation leaders select an integration platform best suited to their specific hybrid integration requirements.
Ovum believes integration is “the lifeblood of today’s digital economy,” and we couldn’t agree more. For years we have been laser-focused on helping customers connect applications and data across the enterprise to improve business processes, accelerate decision-making, and drive better business outcomes. It’s wonderful and validating that Ovum considers us among the best in the integration space.
For those who keep up with SnapLogic, you may already know this Leadership placement is the latest of its kind, as over the last couple of years we have been recognized as a Leader in iPaaS market reports from Gartner, Forrester, and G2Crowd. But there’s a handful of things that separate Ovum’s report from the others. Let’s look at two that stand out the most to me:
- Heavy emphasis on API Management: While other iPaaS vendor assessment reports mix their technical criteria among common integration needs like cloud connectivity, B2B support and API management, Ovum places 45% of its technical assessment on API management capabilities, by far the heaviest emphasis of any report. We have been steadily increasing our investment in API management and it’s great that our efforts have been recognized here.
- Global analysis based out of EMEA: While the report evaluated vendors from a global perspective, Ovum has an especially precise pulse on the EMEA tech landscape and that region’s specific needs. The past couple of years we have been aggressively expanding into EMEA, and I feel these successful efforts played at least some role in our ranking this year.
As we begin to close out 2019, I’m proud of the work we have accomplished so far at SnapLogic.
