Cloud and big data integration startup named one of four leading Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) providers by top independent IT analyst firm Ovum
SAN MATEO, Calif. — April 16, 2015 — SnapLogic, the Elastic Integration company, today announced its ranking as a Market Leader in the report, “Ovum Decision Matrix: Selecting an Integration PaaS (iPaaS) Solution, 2015-2016.” SnapLogic, one of just four vendors named in the Market Leaders’ category, was noted by Ovum for strengths in scalability and comprehensive cloud and hybrid integration capabilities, big data integration and solid average subscription size. The analyst firm has set a high bar for the technology, defining iPaaS as: “multi-tenant, scalable cloud-based integration platforms providing the necessary tools and dedicated resources for faster development of integration flows connecting different applications and data sources, as well as offering enterprise-grade data security and governance for such interactions.”
In the report, Ovum describes enterprise benefits of iPaaS as easing the complexity of hybrid integrations and achieving faster time-to-integration, while managing business needs and budget constraints. The firm forecasts rapid growth for the global iPaaS market and an evolution to “Enterprise Integration-as-a-Service” phenomenon encompassing application, B2B, and data integration, mobile enablement, API management, Internet of things (IoT) integration and process orchestration requirements of large enterprises.
