The SnapLogic Data Catalog Snap Pack improves an organization’s data governance initiatives by enabling everyone to better access and manage their data.
The SnapLogic Data Catalog, powered by SnapLogic’s Data Catalog Snap Pack, improves the visibility and transparency of an organization’s data. The metadata can be maintained within an organization’s data and then managed in separate SnapLogic Data Catalog tables after being extracted from a database or any other cloud-based data store such as Amazon S3. You can then connect the metadata through relations to gain a holistic view of the relationships that exist in the data.
The SnapLogic Data Catalog Snap Pack includes:
- Catalog Insert Snap: Reads metadata that may exist in an external file system and inserts that metadata into a pre-defined SnapLogic Data Catalog Table or dynamically created catalog tables.
- Catalog Query Snap: Queries the metadata that exists in a SnapLogic Data Catalog Table.
