Kaplan is a global higher education company that helps millions of students prepare for high-stakes exams like the SAT, GMAT, USMLE, BAR review, and more every year. The 80-year old company had a disparate combination of legacy systems they used to gather data and information on student performance, customer issues, product usage, and corporate financials. These services were critical for the business but were incredibly cumbersome and expensive to operate, and these problems only exacerbated as the company continued to grow.
