3 tips for working remotely with SnapLogic

3 min read

We are living in unprecedented times. Like many of you, we started working remotely a few weeks ago. While the challenges of working from home are numerous, our customers around the world must still deliver.

Now more than ever, as many of us adapt to new working conditions that involve increasing physical isolation from others, it’s critically important for us all to be as self-sufficient and efficient as possible.

We are here to help. If the SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform is a key part of your enterprise technology stack, here are a few tips:

Migrate from a Groundplex to a Cloudplex

In the past, you may have chosen a Groundplex to host your integration runtime to leverage available resources. But now, if you need to change your Snaplex from a Groundplex, managed by your infrastructure team, to a Cloudplex managed by the SnapLogic team, you can do it in a matter of minutes. Even when you have hundreds of triggered or Ultra tasks, you can use a pipeline to automate this process. Watch this video to learn how:

Enable Multiple Developers to Collaborate

In this time of remote work, communication and collaboration is even more crucial for a productive team. We enable multiple developers to work on the same integration project, seamlessly. For example, two developers can work on the same integration process and see each other’s work. Your SnapLogic administrator can make the adjustment in the SnapLogic Manager tab to make that happen. This video details how an admin can share a folder with other users or a group of users:

Monitor the Health and Performance of Your Integrations

We have made available anything and everything you need to know about the health of your integrations via sophisticated telemetry. SnapLogic provides elegant monitoring and powerful system management via the Dashboard tab in the same unified interface. Use our API to export this information into a third-party monitoring tool or your data warehouse. See this video on using Dashboard API and putting this information into a cloud data warehouse, for example:

We hope that these tips will make you even more efficient as you continue to build and manage your integrations with SnapLogic. If you’re new to SnapLogic, here is a free trial to try out our cloud-native, low-code integration platform today.

Lastly, to all of our employees and to everyone working hard to make the world work smarter to get through these difficult times, thank you.
