The Role:

SnapLogic has built and developed a world-class product for our customers and are now taking our data and application connector solutions to the next level.  We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team to design and drive improvements to our product interaction, workflows, and automations, helping us take our product to the next level.  Reporting to the Global Head of Design, this role will be responsible for championing our customers’ needs so they can achieve amazing things with their data and application ecosystem.  This role is an individual contributor position but will work on a matrixed basis across the organization operating both as member of a central design team, as well as taking lead on specific projects.  This position is remote with occasional travel requirements.
To be considered for the role, you must share a portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional design sensibilities, a solid understanding of UX best practices for enterprise, and the ability to solve complex problems in concise intuitive ways. You should be comfortable leveraging your design skills to create good user experiences within technical constraints.

What You'll Do:

  • Design the user experience/interaction for our platform and products.
  • Partner with Product Management to define requirements and develop innovations.
  • Participate in Customer Co-Innovation Labs to develop break through solutions.
  • Use both customer data and UX best practices to drive design decisions.
  • Develop prototypes, screenshots, wireframes — whatever gets the job done.
  • Quickly and thoughtfully incorporate team feedback into designs.
  • Validate your designs through A/B testing and/or qualitative user research working with UX research.
  • Develop realistic & high-quality recommendations for improving the user experience, proactively thinking through the implications.
  • Plan for the future while remaining grounded in the present.
  • Identify and propose strategies around problems that affect your team, communicating effectively, and gaining buy-in.
  • Work with the other members of the design team to continually evolve and improve the product, as well as work to improve the knowledge and practices of the team overall.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience designing web apps, ideally SaaS or other enterprise applications.
  • Degree in HCI, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related field.
  • Must be highly proficient in Figma.
  • Deep intuitive understanding of standard UX/UI best practices.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product management.
  • Degree of autonomy and successfully deliver projects from conception to finished production-ready design files on time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a fully remote team environment.
  • Excellent grasp of visual and interaction design trends.
  • Confident in taking risks building toward long-term business objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make decisions and move forward while balancing tradeoffs between development, customer, and business needs.
  • Demonstrates strong situational awareness, connecting adjacent and analogous patterns.
  • Ability to quickly identify mistakes and make appropriate course corrections.
