Automation: The Superpower of the Enterprise

2 min read

Connecting the complex, dynamic, global enterprise is no easy feat. At any large company, you’ll find hundreds of disparate applications, in the cloud, on-premises, and in hybrid environments. Massive amounts of structured, semi-structured, and increasingly unstructured data, both human- and machine-generated. Proprietary and sensitive data about employees or customers that must be protected and safeguarded.

Still, enterprises know that to see around corners and run faster than competitors, connecting these disparate apps and data sources is paramount to success. Only then can they streamline business processes, make informed decisions, and take transformative action.

“I can’t put it more bluntly, if companies want to [remain competitive], they need to automate, because automation is the superpower of the enterprise. It provides an enterprise the capability to be more operationally efficient and to speed things up,” noted SnapLogic CEO Gaurav Dhillon in the February 2020 issue of Gigabit Magazine. “So while you might think automation is easy, the precursor step of getting the big pieces talking to one another is monumentally difficult.”

Enter SnapLogic. “Our mission is to … give the enterprise what it needs to run better, to attain automation, to speed up before flying cars show up,” continued Dhillon.
