Day two wrapped up here at Web 2.0. A few points to mention.
1. Up until we registered to attend, I thought the attendees were mainly of the Blog/Wiki/SocialNet variety. Boy was I wrong. Lots and lots of Fortune 100 companies there looking for ways to ‘bring Web 2.0 into their enterprise’. Let’s just set aside for now the minor point of determining what that actually means.
2. Enterprise Mashups are the dominant theme. Between WaveMaker, JackBe, LongJump, CogHead, BungeeLabs, Etelos, Salesforce.com, and others, there was enough there to make your head spin.
3. Everyone needs data. Remember that Data in the Intel Inside Web 2.0. That could not have been more clear at the show.
Finally, big thanks to John Musser of Programmable Web for mentioning us in his Kick Off session in the Enterprise Mashup track. Big wave of traffic by our booth after that.
