Sequence Snap

The Sequence Snap is used to generate a sequence of numbers.

Key Features of the Sequence Snap

Use the Sequence Snap to generate an output record containing the next value of the sequence. Note that when using this Snap:

  • The input fields are also sent through via pass through
  • Sequence Snaps do not contain state outside of the pipeline run instance
  • The sequence will begin with the initial value when a new pipeline run occurs
